As I was driving out of the city to head to Target, I couldn’t help but think to myself: “Why do designer collaborations make us so crazy?!” I don’t even know if I still have the answer. Maybe the limited quantities, maybe the great price to get a designer label or maybe all the hype that is around before the line hits the stores.
Whatever it is, it works. Today, I didn’t find myself reluctantly slunking out of bed at 5 am like Phillip Lim for Target but I still found myself in a frenzy trying to snag the pieces I was coveting. First, stopped at Hillcrest mall (the Target 5 mins away from my condo). Down to a measly pieces in odd size ranges. TO THE NEXT ONE- in & out in under 5 mins.
Off to Pickering now. I noted on twitter that Pickering had a good selection (thanks @kimberly_lyn) so I raced there (and I would say not literally; but it surely felt like I was racing). Now, it’s getting snowy too. Just my luck. Anyways, made it safe & sound to Pickering. Decent selections but the best styles were picked over in the main sizes.
Now, I had been home earlier over the weekend but anyways I decided to head back home to my parents. So this allowed me to stop at the location in Bowmanville. Luckily, I found everything I was looking for + a little more. I would have liked to have found the two-tone wrap style skirt & the patterned shorts, but still did pretty well!
Here are some pics from the store:
And finally, here is what I got!
My fav piece is that romper! Will be so easy to style in the Spring/Summer. I am in love with the bustier bikini top. Still unsure about the cropped scuba top & the black/white sunnies. Thoughts?
Did you buy anything? What was your experience like? Hope you found everything you were looking for!
